The Opportunity: Your Role and Rewards
This is a true 360° recruitment role, offering the chance to work across a varied portfolio including industrial, aviation, and commercial recruitment. You will manage both temporary and permanent assignments while developing your own market presence and client base. Joining a small, highly experienced team, you benefit from genuine support, industry expertise, and the freedom to grow your desk while building long-term client partnerships.
Key responsibilities include developing new business, building client relationships, sourcing and placing candidates, managing temporary workforce requirements, and delivering permanent recruitment placements. You will also handle account management, client retention, offer negotiation and terms, and contribute to the continued success of the branch.
Permanent placements across the UK grew in August 2026 for the first time since September 2022, according to the latest KPMG and REC Report on Jobs. Joining now positions you to capitalise on a recovering market with an established client base already in place.
How does desk development actually work here?
Desk growth at this business follows a structured path. You inherit warm client relationships built over years in the Southeast market, then add new business through your own outreach. The experienced leadership team provides deal support and sector guidance, reducing the cold-start pressure that stalls consultants at newer agencies.
What if I do not have specialist recruitment experience?
Sector-specific experience is useful but not a requirement. The client relationships, market knowledge, and candidate networks are already established. What the business needs is a recruiter who can manage a full 360° desk, develop new business, and build trust with clients. Transferable billing skills from any discipline are genuinely valued here.
What is on Offer?
The package attracts a Consultant who wants to earn well and grow professionally. It includes a basic salary around £35,000, negotiable depending on experience, and an uncapped bonus scheme paying up to 30%. You will also benefit from free on-site parking, established client relationships, and a supportive leadership team. There is an opportunity to develop your own sector, specialism, or division, alongside genuine career progression within a successful recruitment business. The company is a recognised brand known for quality, professionalism, and long-term client partnerships across the Southeast.
